“Why Do You Act Foolishly?”
Job 27
Cliff Blair
Job swears to his integrity and confronts his friends, refusing to confess guilt he does not bear. While affirming that the wicked will ultimately face utter destruction, Job turns their theology back on them, warning that they stand in danger by condemning a blameless, suffering servant of God. Job, albeit unknowingly, also points to Christ—the true, blameless, suffering servant — whose rejection becomes the decisive line between God’s friends and foes.
