I shall come forth as gold

Series Exposition of Job

Job endures false accusations but maintains his integrity, longing for an audience with God even when he cannot find Him. Though he cannot understand why the righteous suffer while the wicked prosper, Job declares by faith, “When He has tried me, I shall come forth as gold,” showing that God’s hidden purposes are purifying rather than destroying him.
